Colfax's girls basketball and
volleyball teams won eight straight girls titles in the SunDome, a
streak snapped in the quarterfinals of this year's 1A basketball
tournament. Review the

 Hoosiers '08
They live where the blacktop stops, a 90-minute
roundtrip drive from the nearest loaf of bread, in a town that no
longer exists. They are the North River Mustangs, a team that --
only two years after back-to-back winless seasons -- made it to this
year's Class 1B state basketball
