Six of the past seven Class 1A boys basketball titles have been won by teams from west of the Cascades. This year, the three teams atop the final Associated Press poll are all Eastern Washington teams -- No. 1 Cashmere (21-2), No. 2 Zillah (21-3) and No. 3 Naches Valley (22-2). A third SCAC West team, Granger (20-5), comes in a very dangerous and probably underrated No. 9. > READ
