Warriors Rally in Second Half

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Nick Lindseth scored seven of his game-high 29 points
during a 14-2 third-quarter run as No. 2-ranked Seattle Christian rallied
for a 63-48 first-round win over Kettle Falls in the Class 1A boys state
tournament Wednesday.
The Warriors (23-1) trailed 32-27 at halftime before turning the corner in
the third period, when they held Kettle Falls to one layup. SC then blew the
game open with a 22-14 advantage in the final period.
Rob Peterson scored 12 and Jordan Collier added 10 points for the Warriors.
Lindseth had a game-high 11 rebounds, and Peterson pulled down nine.
Lindseth and Collier also had three steals apiece.
Greg Mace and Cody Slater paced Kettle Falls (21-7) with 13 and 12 points,
respectively. Both had eight points as the Bulldogs built their first-half
advantage.
After converting just 35 percent of its shots in the first half, SC caught
fire in the second half, sinking 62.5 percent – 10 of 16 – of its field-goal
tries.
