   No. 5 Freeman Moves to Quarters

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Jon Dresback scored 14 points and Pat Love 11 to lead fifth-ranked Freeman to a 51-43 victory over La Conner in the Class 1A boys state tournament Wednesday.

The Scotties (24-4) held off a feisty La Conner squad at the free-throw line, converting 11 of 17 attempts in the second half. For the game, Freeman made 17 of 25 tries.

Tony Decker and Luke Keel each scored 15 points for La Conner (18-8). The Braves, led by Jermaine Wade’s eight rebounds, also held a 23-15 rebounding advantage.
