   ABM Cruises Past Forest Ridge

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Lisa Coate poured in 25 points as No. 3-ranked Archbishop Murphy cruised to a 72-45 victory over Forest Ridge on Thursday in the Class 1A girls state tournament.

Coate made 9 of 17 shots and was 7-for-10 from the free-throw line. She also pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds. Sister Lauren Coate added 17 points and 10 rebounds.

The Wildcats (22-3) built a 36-21 halftime lead and finished the game with a 25-7 fourth-quarter run.

Jackie Spencer countered with 25 points, including an 11-for-13 effort at the free-throw line, for Forest Ridge, which ended its year with a 15-12 record. She also had eight rebounds.
