YAKIMA, Wash. -- Brianne King scored a game-high 15 points to as Coupeville beat River View 39-26 Friday in the Class 1A girls state basketball tournament.

King had 10 points in the first half, including the Wolves’ first six points on back-to-back 3-pointers.

The Wolves improved to 20-7 and will play at 9 a.m. Saturday for fifth and eighth places. The Panthers ended their season at 20-7.

Carly Guillory added six points and a team-high eight rebounds for Coupeville.

Miranda Bronson paced River View with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
