YAKIMA, Wash. -- Lisa Coate poured in 19 points to lead third-ranked Archbishop Murphy to fifth place in the Class 1A girls state tournament with a 46-36 victory over Coupeville on Saturday.

Coate scored 11 of her points in the first half as the Wildcats built a 23-19 halftime lead. ABM took control with an 8-2 third-quarter run.

It was the fourth time ABM had beaten the ninth-ranked Wolves this season.

Coate finished with a game-high 17 rebounds, three assists and a steal. She made 6 of 8 field goals and was 7-for-10 from the free-throw line.

Lauren Coate added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Wildcats, who finished the year at 24-3.

Carly Guillory scored 10 points and had nine rebounds, and Brianne Black added nine points for Coupeville, which took eighth place with a 20-8 record.
