   Ilwaco Swamps Steilacoom, 50-35

YAKIMA HERALD-REPUBLIC

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Andy Hudkins scored a game-high 19 points and pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds as Ilwaco beat Steilacoom 50-35 in the Class 2A boys state tournament Wednesday.

Ryan Cadwell added 12 points for the Fishermen (16-8, who shot 51.7 percent (15 for 29) from the field.

Fifth-ranked Steilacoom, meanwhile, was shut out in the first quarter to set a tournament record for least points in a quarter, breaking the previous mark of 2 that the Sentinels tied last year.

Brett Wusterbarth led the Sentinels with eight points. Michael Lewis had three rebounds.
