   Poirier Pours in 20 in Chelan Win

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Coco Poirier poured in a game-high 20 points as Chelan captured fourth place in the Class 2A girls state tournament with a 45-42 win over Nooksack Valley on Saturday.

Poirier scored seven points during Chelan’s 17-4 third quarter, including a 3-pointer with 2:25 to play that gave the Goats their first lead of the game, which they would never relinquish.

Sarah Schramm added seven points and a game-high 14 rebounds, three assists, a blocked shot and a steal for Chelan (24-3).

Katie Robinson and Devin Dykstra scored 11 points each for Nooksack Valley, which took seventh and finished at 18-8.
