   Ephrata Knocks Out Woodland

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Traci Mickle scored 18 points as Ephrata eliminated Woodland, 55-38, at the Class 2A girls state tournament on Thursday.

Teammate Jana Flannery added 14 points and a game-high 12 rebounds for the Tigers (13-12), who slowly pulled away.

Woodland, playing without injured star point guard Ashley Rodman, finished its season at 23-2. Brittany Driver led the Beavers with 11 points.

Tiffany Moncrief and Margie Lou Correll each blocked three shots for Ephrata.
