Rouse Leads Winlock to 47-32 Win

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Cody Rouse scored a game-high 14 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as Winlock eliminated Archbishop Murphy, 47-32, from the Class 1A boys state tournament on Thursday.

Rouse, who made 10 of 16 free-throw attempts, also had three assists, a blocked shot and a steal.

Robert Hertz, Ben Prigmore and Mike Beglin added seven points each for the Cardinals (17-9).

The Cardinals put the game away with a 19-6 run in the fourth quarter. Rouse and Beglin each had five points in the quarter.

Wes Taylor had 13 points and 10 rebounds for ATM, which ended its season at 17-9.
