YAKIMA, Wash. -- Mary Winslow scored five points in overtime to lead Napavine over Toledo 60-55 in a Class 1A girls state quarterfinal game Thursday.

Regan McNelly, who shared team-high scoring honors with Winslow with 13 points, hit both ends of a one-and-one free-throw situation with three-tenths of a second remaining to knot the score at 49-49 and send the game into overtime.

Trisha Kaut added 10 points and five steals for Napavine (22-3).

Toledo’s Amy Layton led all scorers with 24 points, including 17 in the second half. Teammates Rachel Wallace and Tamara Plandel shared rebounding honors with 11 each as the Indians (17-9) outboarded Napavine 55-38.
