First Half Leads Lind-Ritzville

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Tiffany Starring and Jessica Heidenreich scored 14 and 12 points, respectively, to lead Lind-Ritzville to a 46-37 victory over Onalaska on Wednesday in the Class 1A girls state tournament.

The Broncos (24-5) jumped out to a 12-2 lead after one quarter of play and were never headed.

Brianna Kinsman scored 14 points to lead the Loggers (20-5), who shot just 25.5 percent (14 of 55) for the game.

Brittney Kubik pulled down a game-high nine rebounds for the Broncos, who outrebounded Onalaska 44-30. Alida Bower had eight rebounds for the Loggers.
