Warriors Rally Past Overlake

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Laura Santie scored 10 points and pulled down 11 rebounds as Seattle Christian rallied for a 37-33 consolation game victory over Overlake on Thursday in the Class 1A girls state tournament.

The Warriors (16-13) trailed 19-13 at the half before outscoring the Owls 24-14 in the final two quarters. Overlake closed to within two points, 35-33, with 40 seconds remaining but couldn’t get any closer.

Overlake, led by Bridget Meredith’s 12 points, ended its season at 16-8. Lexi Barker had 10 rebounds for the Owls.
