Kyle Haworth pumped in a game-high 22 points as Columbia of Burbank beat Cascade Christian 48-35 in the consolation bracket of the Class 1A boys state tournament on Thursday.

Haworth converted 7 of 19 shots, including 3 of 5 3-pointers. He hit all three treys in the second quarter, when the Coyotes (16-10) turned a 10-8 first-quarter deficit into a 25-14 halftime lead.

Pete Gordon added 11 points and 12 rebounds for Columbia. He also had three assists, four blocked shots and four steals.

Luke Breton Van Groll paced Cascade Christian with 15 points, and Jordan Williams had 10 rebounds.
