Winlock tops SA
Prigmore, Hertz power Winlock to 55-44
victory over Seattle Christian in loser-out game

Ben Prigmore and Robert Hertz pumped in 15 points
each to lead Winlock to a 55-44 consolation-round victory over Seattle
Academy on Thursday in the Class 1A boys state tournament.
Kevin Hauschild added 12 points for Winlock (17-9),
which bolted to a 17-9 first-quarter lead but saw SA rally to take brief
leads in before the half.
Prigmore erased the SA leads with free throws both
times, and gave his team the lead for good, 20-19, with a free shot with
3:08 remaining before the half.
Seattle Academy, with 10 points each from Matt
Higgins and Brendan Beyl, finished its year at 12-11.
Hertz had a game-high 12 rebounds and Prigmore had
nine.
Higgins had nine rebounds for SA.
