Warriors top LaConner, 62-38 

Petersen paces Seattle Christian with 16 points

Seattle Christian posted a 20-2 run in the fourth quarter en route to a 62-38 victory over LaConner on Thursday in the Class 1A boys state tournament.

Trevor Petersen led the Warriors (20-5) with 16 points, including 13 in the second half. John Finn added 12 points and Bryon Jansen 11.

Seattle Christian got 12 of its 20 fourth-quarter points at the free-throw line. LaConner committed 10 of its 16 turnovers in the second half, including nine in the fourth quarter.

Luke Keel and Jake Roth each scored 14 points for the Braves (20-4).

SC meets either Brewster or Toledo in Friday’s early semifinal.
