Pass swamps CW
Redmon leads White Pass' 69-33 drubbing
YAKIMA HERALD-REPUBLIC
Kendra Redmon scored 19 points as White Pass rolled
to a 69-33 first-round victory over Charles Wright Academy in the Class
1A girls state tournament Wednesday.
The Panthers (19-5) pulled out to a 24-12 lead
after the first quarter en route to a 41-20 halftime lead. CW never got
closer than 23 in the second half.
Leanne Lamping added 11 points for White Pass, and
Redmon and Breanna Moody each grabbed six rebounds.
Lindsey McFerran led Charles Wright (18-5) with 16
points and eight rebounds.
