Ashley Kitzman leads Fishermen with 24 points
YAKIMA HERALD-REPUBLIC
Ashley Kitzman poured in a game-high 24 points to
lead Ilwaco past Life Christian 47-31 in consolation play Thursday at
the Class 1A girls state tournament.
Kitzman converted 7 of 15 shots. She also had nine
rebounds, an assist and three steals as the Fishermen improved to 13-13.
Life Christian, which ended its season at 10-14,
got 10 points from Jamie Scott.
Anna Kitzman added 10 points and 10 rebounds for
Ilwaco, and Ariel Barker grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds, including
seven offensive rebounds.
