Chris Dew and Ryan Mann each scored nine points to lead Steilacoom past Hoquiam 48-28 Wednesday night in the Class 2A boys state tournament.

Leading 24-18 at halftime, the Sentinels (17-7) put the game away with an 11-2 run in the third quarter.

Steilcoom outrebounded the Grizzlies (15-9) 28-19. Marcel Harding led with seven for Steilacoom, and no player had more than three for Hoquiam.

Steilacoom made 39 percent of its shots (16 of 41) for the game, including 9 of 19 (47.4 percent) in the second half. Hoquiam made 11 of 33 (33.3 percent) in the contest.
