Knights improve to 24-1 with 66-33 victory

Sara Mosiman scored a game-high 21 points as second-ranked King’s cruised past Ephrata 66-33 Thursday in a Class 2A girls state quarterfinal game.

Mossiman made 8 of 9 shots and was 5-for-5 from the line. She also had four rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots and four steals.

The win sends the Knights (24-1) into Friday’s 7:30 p.m. semifinal against either Lynden Christian or Riverside.

Caitlyn Faidley added 15 points for King’s, which outscored Ephrata 25-2 in the first quarter and never looked back.

Tiffany Moncrief paced the Tigers (19-7) with nine points, and Mary Lou Correll pulled down seven rebounds.
