Kristin De Haan poured in 19 points to power fourth-ranked Lynden Christian to a 55-31 consolation-round victory over Ephrata on Friday in the Class 2A girls state tournament.

De Haan made just 4 of 9 field-goal tries but was 10 of 12 from the free-throw line. Janelle Aupperlee added 13 points for the Lyncs, who improved to 23-4 and will face Mount Baker at noon Saturday for fourth and seventh places.

The Lyncs led 22-21 at halftime, but Kristin Berendsen sparked a 15-4 Lyncs third quarter with seven points.

Kyla Whitaker and Mary Eisen scored six points each for the Tigers, who closed their season at 19-8.
