Ryan Votaw poured in a game-high 21 points to lead eighth-ranked Toledo past Burbank 59-38 on Saturday for fifth place in the Class 1A boys state tournament.

Votaw, who also had a game-high 16 rebounds, scored six points to key an 11-0 run in the second quarter that pushed the Indians safely ahead. Columbia never got closer than 13 the rest of the way.

Chad Amrine added 10 points and four assists for the Indians. Votaw also had five assists and a steal.

Elias Serrano scored eight points to lead the Coyotes.

Toledo, which finished at 25-3, earned its 10th state trophy and its third straight.

Burbank earned just its third boys basketball trophy in school history. The Coyotes ended their year at 12-15.
