John Hamilton scored 11 points to lead Friday Harbor to a 39-19 victory
over Napavine in the Class 1A boys state tournament on Wednesday.
The Wolverines (18-3) pulled out to a 20-9 halftime lead and were never
challenged in the second half.
Hamilton made 5 of 7 shots. He also had four rebounds and blocked four
shots.
The low-scoring affair set two records: lowest combined score (58),
breaking the old mark of 60 set in 2003, and lowest losing score (19),
previously set by Granger (22) in 2002.
Shay Griffith led Napavine (16-10) with 11 points and six rebounds.
