Courtney May scored a game-high 16 points to lead Napavine over Bush 53-29 in a Class 1A girls state tournament consolation game Thursday.

May scored 12 of her points in the first half as the Tigers (21-4) built a 33-16 halftime lead. She made 7 of 14 shots in the game, including two 3-pointers.

Teammate Raychel Wilson added 10 points.

Napavine’s defense came away with 13 steals, including seven from May. The Tigers converted those into 17 points.

Kelsey Golitz scored nine points and pulled down eight rebounds for Bush, which ended its year at 15-9.
