Coyotes
past Napavine, 54-36
Burbank will play for fifth place on Saturday

Brianna Smith scored a game-high 18 points and pulled down 11 rebounds
to lead Burbank past Napavine 54-36 on Friday in the Class 1A girls
state consolation bracket.
The win propels the Coyotes (20-7) into Saturday’s 10:30 a.m. game for
fifth and eighth places.
Smith scored 12 points in the second half as Burbank took control of the
game with a 19-9 run in the third quarter. Teammate Lauren Rada added
eight points and 10 rebounds.
Courtney May scored 10 points and had eight rebounds for Napavine, which
ended its season at 20-6.
Smith was 4 of 7 from behind the 3-point arc. Napavine, however, made
just 2 of 19 trey attempts.
