Abby Bruya scored 10 points to lead Colfax to a 58-34 Class 1A girls state tournament win over Overlake on Wednesday night.

The two-time defending state champion Bulldogs (21-4) will face unbeaten White Swan (24-0) at 9 p.m. Thursday in the last of four quarterfinals.

The victory increased the Bulldogs' state-tournament winning streak to 11. They've also won 16 of their past 17 games.

The Bulldogs were in control from the beginning, outscoring Overlake 15-5 in the first quarter and never looking back.

Colfax's defense also was strong: It came away with 15 steals and helped pressure Overlake into 25 turnovers.

Alyson Peters led the Owls (16-10) with a game-high 12 points, but Overlake suffered from poor shooting, converting just 29 percent (9 of 31) shots for the game.
