Lauren Rada poured in 24 points as Burbank raced past Coupeville 60-32 Thursday in the consolation bracket of the Class 1A girls state tournament.

Rada sank 18 points in the first half – including her team’s first seven points of the game – as the Coyotes built a 25-9 lead after one quarter.

She finished making 10 of 18 shots, including 4 of 7 3-pointers, and had four rebounds, an assist and six steals.

Brianna Smith added 14 points and five rebounds for the Coyotes, who improved to 19-7.

Brittany Black scored 10 points for the Wolves, who ended their season at 11-13.

Coupeville hurt its own cause with 33 turnovers, and shot just 25.6 percent (10 of 39) for the game.
