Dallas Huggins scored a game-high 25 points to lead Forks to a 49-38 consolation victory over Ridgefield on Thursday in the Class 2A girls state tournament.

Huggins made 10 of 18 shots. He also had nine rebounds, a blocked shot and two steals.

Trailing 19-18 at the half, the Spartans rallied with a 13-4 run in the third quarter. Huggins scored five straight points during that surge that put his team ahead to stay. The Spudders never got closer than four the rest of the game.

Craig McCuistion led the Spudders with 12 points, and Troy Bleth pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds.

Forks improved to 20-5; Ridgefield ended its season at 14-11.
