Emmi Johannsson scored a game-high 13 points as Hoquiam beat Riverside 44-32 on Friday in a Class 2A boys state consolation game.

The Grizzlies, who led the entire game and improved to 22-4, will face Forks at 9 a.m. Saturday for fifth and eighth places.

Johannsson was the game’s only double-figure scorer. Ted Nelson added nine points and Joey Wayman eight for the Grizzlies.

Hoquiam jetted to an 18-8 lead after one quarter, and the Rams never got closer than eight points the rest of the way.

Adam Anderson and Jason Paul led the Rams with nine points each, and Aaron Anderson had seven rebounds.

Riverside ended its year at 16-11.
