Kia Gibson scored 17 points and led three Lakeside players in double figures as the Eagles eliminated Archbishop Murphy, 59-41, from the Class 2A girls state tournament Thursday.

Courtnee Galvin and Kellie Cummings added 15 and 11 points, respectively, for the Eagles
(18-7), who finally pulled away from the Wildcats with a 20-5 fourth-quarter run.

Galvin pulled down nine rebounds, dished out three assists, blocked a shot and had three steals, and Gibson added eight rebounds and two assists.

Krista Eknes and Lisa Coate led ATM with 12 points each. Coate and Ashley Reinig had seven rebounds apiece.

The Wildcats finished their year at 19-7.
