Kristin Schramm scored 22 points and Cassy Pilkinton pulled down 14 rebounds as Chelan defeated Forks 53-26 on Wednesday in the Class 2A girls state tournament.

Schramm made 9 of 11 field goals, including a 3-pointer, and scored 14 of her points in the first half as the Goats (23-1) built a 34-15 halftime lead. Pilkinton scored nine of her 11 points in the firs half.

Chelan outrebounded Forks (16-8) 52-31. Pilkinton had seven offensive rebounds.

Alexa Justus led the Spartans with 11 points.
Forks suffered from icy shooting, making just 14 percent (8 of 47) of its shots in the game, including just 4 of 30 in the second half.
