Destiny Schang scored 14 points and Megan Peabody added 12 as Woodland beat Ridgefield 57-44 on Friday in a Class 2A girls state tournament consolation game.

The win sends the Beavers (24-2) into Saturday’s 1:30 p.m. game against Chelan for fourth and seventh places. Ridgefield ended its year at 14-12.

Woodland raced to a 30-15 halftime lead, and the Spudders never got closer than six points in the second half.

Ashley Kofstad added 10 points for the Beavers. Natile Trice and Courtney Greenleaf each pulled down eight rebounds.

Lauren Hefflin led Ridgefield with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
