leads Eagles' 48-25 victory over La Center

Kelsey Stillar poured in 13 of her game-high 16 points during a
third-quarter surge that Lakeside used to put away La Center, 48-25, for
fifth place in the Class 2A girls state tournament on Saturday.
Stillar sank three of her four 3-pointers during the Eagles’ 23-point
third quarter that turned a 20-10 halftime lead into a 43-19 advantage
after three quarters.
The win gave Lakeside of Nine Mile Falls its first trophy since 2003,
when the Eagles also placed fifth.
Lakeside finished its season at 19-7; La Center ended at 19-8.
Courtnee Galvin added 12 points for the Eagles, and Kia Gibson pulled
down nine rebounds.
Brittney Roggenkamp led the Wildcats with 11 points, and Jessie Mansell
hauled in a game-high 11 rebounds. Roggenkamp also had five rebounds,
two assists, a blocked shot and two steals.
