Cassy Pilkinton poured in 23 points as Chelan captured fourth place in the Class 2A girls state tournament with a 56-50 victory over Woodland on Saturday.

Pilkinton scored 10 of her team’s first 14 points as the Goats built up an early 18-6 lead before Woodland charged back. The Beavers took a brief one-point lead in the third quarter, but a 3-pointer by Pilkinton pushed Chelan ahead to stay, 33-31.

Pilkinton made 8 of 16 shots, including 3 of 5 3-pointers. She also had a game-high nine rebounds, a blocked shot and five steals.

Courtney Greenleaf led Woodland with 12 points and seven rebounds.

Chelan finished its year at 25-2, while the Beavers closed out at 24-3.
