Andrei Lintz scored seven of his game-high 20 points in the fourth quarter to lead Meridian to a 54-46 quarterfinal win over King’s Thursday in the Class 1A boys state tournament.

Meridian, which led the entire game, built an 11-point halftime lead behind three three-pointers by Nate Mark, who finished with 13 points.

Meridian closed out the win at the free-throw line, where the Trojans converted 16 of 22 shots.

This was a rematch of a district game in which King’s had won 41-38.

Meridian will face top-ranked and unbeaten Brewster (27-0) in Friday’s 9 p.m. semifinal.

King’s was without leading scorer Charlie Enquist, who broke his wrist in the district tournament.

Biniam Tadele led King’s with 18 points.
