Levi Davis scored 15 points as River View cruised past Burbank 61-50 Friday in the Class 1A boys state consolation bracket.

The win sends the fifth-ranked Panthers (23-4) into Saturday's 10:30 a.m. game against Mabton, which beat Tonasket 38-33 earlier Friday.

Burbank finished its year at 17-10. It was the third time in four meetings this year that the Coyotes have lost to River View.

Besides Davis, Kyle Gier and Nick Gaston both scored in double-figures, with 14 and 13 points, respectively.

The Panthers rolled out to a 27-18 halftime advantage and were never headed, though Burbank managed to close to within seven points midway through the fourth quarter.

Eric Leichtfuss led Burbank with 20 points, including five three-pointers. He also had five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Mike Ledgerwood pulled down a game-high seven rebounds for River View, which outrebounded Burbank 32-27. Gier added six rebounds.
