Brianna Smith scored 17 points to led Burbank to a 55-44 consolation victory over Bellevue Christian on Thursday in the Class 1A girls state tournament.

Tiffany Idler and Lauren Rada chipped in 13 and 12 points, respectively, for the Coyotes, who improved to 22-4.

The win sends Burbank into a Friday game against Seattle Christian. Because both Burbank's boys and girls teams would be scheduled to play at the same time, the Burbank girls' game against SC will be played at 12:30 p.m.

Smith canned 3 of 5 three-point attempts and also had two assists and five steals.

Rebecca Staley pulled down seven rebounds and Rada six.

Michelle Teng had 15 points and Carly Brog 13 for the Vikings, who ended their season at 19-5.
