Jordan Harazin scored 14 points and Lauren Mellor added 13 as fourth-ranked Colfax swept past Seattle Christian 55-23 on the opening day of the Class 1A girls state tournament Wednesday.

Colfax (26-2), the three-time defending 1A champ, posted a 19-9 run in the first quarter and was never challenged after that. The Bulldogs outscored the Warriors (18-6) 24-7 in the second half.

Mellor also grabbed seven rebounds, and had five assists and five steals

Colfax's defense mustered 14 steals and helped force Seattle Christian into 26 turnovers.

Alyssa Abe led the Warriors with six points.
