Brianne Ryan poured in 23 points to lead second-ranked Lynden Christian past Burbank 61-49 on Wednesday in the Class 1A girls state tournament.

The victory also gave LC coach Curt De Haan his 600th coaching win.

Kenzie De Boer added 15 points for the Lyncs (24-1), who led by 13 in the second quarter before Burbank cut the lead to three late in the third period.

Ryan also pulled down nine rebounds for the Lyncs, who outrebounded Burbank 43-38.

Brianna Smith paced the Coyotes (21-4) with 22 points, and teammate Lauren Rada had eight rebounds, two assists and a steal.
