Fredy Quezada scored a game-high 21 points as Entiat bolted to a fast start en route to a 65-44 consolation victory over Mary Knight on Thursday in the Class 1B boys state tournament.

Quezada had seven points in the first quarter, when Entiat rolled up a 24-9 lead. Mary Knight never got closer than 14 points the rest of the way.

Teammate Jeff Pittsinger added 13 points, 13 rebounds, two steals and a block for the Tigers, who improved to 18-6.

Entiat's defense swiped 15 steals as Mary Knight hurt itself with 25 turnovers.

Sean Brehmeyer led the Owls, who finished their season at 14-7, with 18 points, 10 rebounds and three steals.
