Riggs Yarbro scored a game-high 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting to lead second-ranked Moses Lake Christian to a 76-29 consolation win over Taholah in the Class 1B boys state tournament Friday.

The win send the Lions (22-3) to Saturday's 10:30 a.m. game for fifth and eighth places.

Sam Walker added 19 points and Taylor McNamara had 13 points for the Lions, who led the entire game.

MLC dominated the boards, with a 59-36 advantage. Walker and Daniel Timofeyev each pulled down eight and Phillip Friehe had seven.

William Grover scored 19 points and Xavier Lewis snared 10 rebounds for the Chitwins, who finished their season at 14-7.
