Amanda Smith scored 11 points and grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds to lead Cusick to a 47-37 consolation victory over Neah Bay on Thursday in the Class 1B girls state tournament.

Holly Edwards added nine points and Elisha Edmiston 11 rebounds for the Panthers, who improved to 12-14 overall.

Kelli Shuffelen scored 13 points for the Lady Reds, who ended their year at 12-4.

Smith also blocked seven shots.

Neah Bay suffered from ice-cold shooting, making just 17 percent (13 of 76) of its shots for the game, including just three of 21 from three-point range.
