Roni Jo Mielke poured in a game-high 24 points as second-ranked Sprague-Harrington cruised past Mary Knight 71-34 Thursday in a Class 1B girls state quarterfinal game.

Miekle scored 21 points in the first half as the Falcons (23-4) rolled out to a 47-11 halftime lead. S-H shot a blistering 53 percent (19 of 36) in the first half en route to the large intermission advantage.

Sprague-Harrington will face Tekoa-Oakesdale (19-7) in Friday’s 7:30 p.m. semifinal.

Natalie Deking added 18 points for S-H.
Shelby Adsero led Mary Knight (13-9) with 10 points.
