Serena Condon led five players in double-figures with 16 points as Inchelium steamrolled Taholah 80-40 Wednesday in the first round of the Class 1B girls state tournament.

The Hornets (18-5) also buzzed around the court for a record 36 steals that snapped the old Class B record of 30 set by St. George's in 1994.

Chelsi Pakootas, who chipped in 15 points, had nine steals, Steven Carson had seven and Chenise Pakootas and Condon each added five.

Destiny Christianson and Amanda Burch each scored 10 points and Carson 10 for the winners.

Sky Upham scored 12 points and Krissa Papp 10 for the Chitwins (18-2). Upham pulled down 10 rebounds.
