Chelsi Pakootas poured in a game-high 18 points as third-ranked Inchelium beat No. 1 Curlew 51-36 on Saturday for fourth place in the Class 1B girls state tournament.

Pakootas, who left the game with an injury in the fourth quarter, made 6 of 11 shots, including 3 of 4 three-point attempts. She also had four rebounds, six assists and three steals.

Later in the afternoon, her family reported the injury was a sprained finger.

Serena Condon added 14 points and Chenise Pakootas pulled down 10 rebounds for the Hornets (20-6), who led all but the game’s opening minutes.

Kady Kirkendall scored 11 points and Amanda Grumbach snared 11 rebounds for Curlew, which finished at 24-3.
