Matt Pleasants sank a layin off a feed from Coby Dick with two seconds remaining to lift Lake Roosevelt to a 49-48 consolation win over Winlock on Thursday in the Class 1A boys state tournament.

The Raiders (22-6) trailed from the end of the first quarter, including trailing by seven midway through the fourth quarter, before charging back.

Dick sank a trey and added another basket to lead the rally, and later tied the game at 43-43 with 1:26 to play with another field goal.

Tyler Hertz put Winlock back in front with a trey, but Dick and Pleasants both hit field goals for a 47-46 lead with 25 seconds left.

Jordan Davis, who led Winlock (20-5) with 20 points and 10 rebounds, followed with two free throws with 19 seconds to play, before Pleasants' winning basket after an inbounds pass under his own basket.

Pleasants finished with 22 points, and Dick 14.
