Erich Fuhlendorf swished a 3-pointer with 1:26 to play in overtime, and Dylan O'Neil added a free throw with nine seconds left to lift King's to a 50-48 overtime win over Cedar Park Christian for fifth place in the Class 1A boys state tournament Saturday.

An off-balance 3-pointer by CPC at the buzzer hit the rim and bounced away.

Fuhlendorf finished with a game-high 26 points for the second-ranked Knights, who finished 23-6. CPC, which finished eighth at 16-9, earned the school's first trophy.

O'Neil added 17 points and seven rebounds for King's, which earned the school's 15th trophy. Fuhlendorf had 11 rebounds.

Jon Ramos led the Eagles with 16 points, and Riley Bettinger added 15. Josh Orrico, whose two free throws with 48 seconds remaining in regulation knotted the score at 42-42 and eventually sent the game into overtime, pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds.

The back-and-forth contest featured 10 lead changes and 10 ties. CPC had the game's biggest lead, 17-13 early in the second quarter.
