Patrick Philley scored a game-high 19 points and Gerald Hill added 11 points and 11 assists to lead Charles Wright to a 55-24 win over Winlock in the Class 1A boys state tournament Wednesday.

The Tarriers (19-6) held a hot shooting touch, making 56 percent (22 of 39) of their attempts, including 63 percent (10 of 16) in the second half. Winlock made just 22 percent (10 of 45).

CW took advantage of Winlock's 16 turnovers, converting them into 18 points.

Tyler Hertz led Winlock (20-4) with 10 points.

C.J. Dale grabbed six rebounds and Philley five for the Tarriers.
