Kenzie De Boer poured in 24 points as top-ranked and unbeaten Lynden Christian rolled past Toledo 67-28 in the first round of the Class 1A girls state tournament Wednesday.

The Lyncs (26-0) won without the play of Brianne Ryan, the team's leading scorer at 17 points per game, who was not suited because of a team disciplinary issue.

De Boer, though, was more than enough for Toledo. She scored 18 of her points in the first half, and the Lyncs used a 24-2 scoring advantage in the second quarter to put the game out of reach.

Teammates Joanie Reimer and Kayleigh Ryan added eight and seven points, respectively. Reimer also had a game-high seven rebounds.

De Boer also had three of the Lyncs' 15 steals, as LC pressured Toledo into 23 turnovers.

Kelsey Stone and Tiffany Tornow led the Indians (13-11) with six points each.
