Courtney Rose Frazier scored 11 of her game-high 15 points in a second-half surge as Touchet raced past Pateros 54-29 on Thursday in the Class 1B girls state tournament quarterfinals.

Thea Sansom added eight of her 13 points in the second half as the Indians improved to 21-4. They'll face Colton (22-3) in Friday's 5 p.m. semifinal contest.

Touchet trailed by six in the first half, but rallied back to take an 18-13 halftime lead. After a close third quarter, the Indians opened the fourth with a 14-5 run that put the game out of reach.

Touchet's defense scrambled for 17 steals, including eight from Rose Frazier. Pateros turned the ball over 24 times, and Touchet turned those miscues into 26 points.

Michelle Bruno scored 13 points and Vanessa Taylor pulled down 13 rebounds for Pateros (18-6).
